Golly Sandra

Eisley tried this song out live before recording it for Room Noises. Stacy wrote it and sings the lyrics, with Sherri on harmony. It's very uptempo, and the band asked a friend, Casey Prestwood, to record lap steel for it, giving "Golly Sandra" a rockabilly feel.

Lyrics

G-g-g-golly Sandra
You've grown up really crazy
Have I been too denying of you
G-golly Sandra
You've grown up so crazy
Have I been too untrusting

Take me down to the bridge
Where you know that I'll always love you
And I'll go without stopping
Oh you are my scar, and that's not really far
Hey, hey

G-g-g-golly Sandra
You've grown up really crazy
Have I been too denying of you
G-golly Sandra
You've grown up so crazy
Have I been too untrusting

Take me down to the bridge
Where you know that I'll always love you
And I'll go there without stopping
Oh you are my scar, and that's not really far
Hey, hey

Well I guess I should have been around
To sing you too sleep
You look so beautiful
It hurts me slightly
Oh, oh

Oh you are my scar, and that's not really far
Hey, hey
Oh you know that I have tried so hard
For you, for you

Etc.
